La historia comienza con Clark recordando sus días en la granja en Smallville con su padre. Recuerda cuando era joven cómo él y Jonathan Kent caminaban por los acres de campos sembrando semillas, y las instrucciones que su padre le daría sobre cómo hacerlo.
