Charles, Jaclyn and Jessica are no strangers to school-yard harassment, but when the ill-tempered Nicolas Carter moves to Chatsweye at the beginning of term, they realise their troubles have only just begun. An ancient evil writhes in an endless void, the seals of its prison weakening day by day. Its corruption seeps from deep below, draining the life from all it touches --draining the world itself. The children can't lose another home, not so soon, not when the faintest hope of returning to it still flickers. But are what they to do? How can they join the fight against an ancient horror in a foreign land? What power could four mere children possibly yield? With friends by their sides, and allies old and new? More than they can possibly imagine. ~ ~ ~ ...I can't write this description to save my life lol. A small (but obvious) heads-up: This story is under construction and constant revision, and as such will be subject to both frequent and sporadic (but mostly minor) changes, especially in earlier chapters. A man who was locked away in a Penitentiary gets released after 15 years due to him being put in for robbing multiple banks before getting caught. He goes by the name of Daniel P. Carter. Before his arrest back in 2002, he traveled with one of his old high school friends and ex-brother-in-law, Neil Sullivan. Neil's ex-wife, Daniella Sullivan who's also Daniel's younger sister by 11 years. Daniella forces a divorce with Neil because she wants a man that's clean and has no criminal record, she wouldn't be able to handle him being locked away for as many years as her older brother.
