After moving to Lenora, Will Byers feels like he's been ripped out of everything that ever made sense. His mom and brother are with him, his new house is covered in things he knows- but nothing feels like home. Hawkins, the Party, and especially Mike feel painfully far away.
So Will writes letters. Letters he never sends.
As school becomes another place of stares, whispers, and quiet cruelty, Will retreats into his drawings and his thoughts-into memories of a boy who was always his safe place, his muse, the person who made him feel seen. Mike Wheeler.
But distance changes things. Silence grows heavier. And the words Will needs most are the ones he can't bring himself to write.
But, what will happen when one day Mike comes suddenly to visit and he discovers Will's letters?
Maybe, that means the little hope Will had now is gone.
Or maybe... it just means waiting.
