As I was spinning 2 fine threads that are destined, I asked my sisters," When would we find love?" My sisters gasped at my question. Lachesis,the one whom measures,answered me ," Dear sister, you do know what you are asking right?" I nodded. "Yes. We see people falling in love everyday. Why cant we ?"I asked. Atropos, the one whom ends the life of others, told me ,"Clotho, youre beautiful that I assure you but ...love was never meant for us. We were given tasks and we do it but falling in love was never a task of ours. Never." I sighed and nodded. This is my life ,I should accept it . That's what they mean. --------------- The world is filled with many lives and deaths. It has been like these for thousands of centuries and milleniums . It is our job as the Fates to create ,end and renew lives. It is by our hands that life was created .Life was born through us. We continue to do this never ending process of spinning the wheels ,cutting the threads and giving new life to others. We pair them with the people they are meant to be . What of us ? Will there come a day when we could experience happiness? When our eyes would be able to be opened to what love is ? They say we are immortal,cannot be touched by the gods or any other creatures out there,they may be telling the truth but I dont feel alive. I am alive but only barely. My eyes only glimpse fragments of what it truly is.I only see people being born,people dying and miracles happening but we are the reasons for all those. Will there come a day when I ,the creator of life, the spinner of the threads,Clotho, find love between my threads?
