3 years have passed since the last time I battled Sephiroth. life after that has not been the perfect but calmer, knowing that he will never come back. But recently, I have started having nightmares and hearing his voice again. At first, I wanted to ignore them, but when Kyra showed up I realised that it is inevitable. After all, he said, he will never be a memory.

It was destiny that made them meet that fateful day. They would slowly realize they both needed each other. But will she truly be able to get passed her demons?

This story mainly revolves around the My Hero Academia Characters, so if you're intimidated by the amount of different Fandoms this story envolves, don't be. They are mainly used in the MHA world and their universes and characteristics will be explained. Izuku is as much of an outsider to this world as you are. Excerpt: She looked... different. Not that she didn't always look beautiful, but today, there was something about her that made it hard to look away. Maybe it was the way the morning sunlight caught in her dark hair, the sparkle in her ruby eyes, or the way her smile lingered after she parted ways with him. Or maybe it was the simple fact that, for a moment, she had looked at him like she wanted him to say something. To do something. But, as always, he didn't. Zack's voice cut through Cloud's thoughts. "But seriously, man. If you don't make a move soon, someone else might." Cloud's jaw tightened. He didn't have to ask who Zack meant. Emilio. That guy had been circling Tifa for years now, flashing his easy grin, acting like he had a chance. And maybe he did. Cloud had no idea what Tifa actually wanted-if she even saw him like that. But the thought of Emilio asking her out made something ugly twist in Cloud's stomach. "It's not like that," Cloud said finally, but even to himself, it didn't sound convincing. "Uh-huh," Zack drawled, clearly unimpressed. "So, you won't mind if Emilio sweeps her off her feet?" Cloud's fists curled at his sides. "In his dreams maybe." His voice was steady, but a flicker of something flashed in his eyes-something almost cocky. A rare sight. It vanished just as quickly, but Zack caught it, his smirk widening. Zack snorted. "Right. But what if she did?" Cloud didn't answer. Zack let the silence hang for a moment before sighing. "Look, man, I get it. You're not exactly great at talking about your feelings-" Cloud shot him a glare. "-but Tifa's not just any girl. She's the girl," Zack continued, undeterred. "You care about her. You always have. And maybe she's been waiting for you to do something about it." Cloud's chest tightened. He hated how much Zack's words made sense.

Tifa has a secret, one that could make her a greater hero than Cloud Strife or a monster worse than Sephiroth. When old enemies arise and previous allies join them, she has no choice but to give into the darker side of her blood, the side that isn't human. However once she takes one step away from her humanity, there's no going back.

Follow Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, Barret, and Red on their journey after saving the world from Sephiroth's first attack. This fanfic is based upon the ending of Final Fantasy VII remake (Disc 1) and WILL NOT follow the plot of the original Final Fantasy VII nor will it follow the up and coming remake sequels. Sephiroth had wandered the lifestream, alone and not allowed to become part of the planet after his last death. He had resigned himself to wander forever, but he was offered the chance at redemption, with a catch. When the planet threw him a curveball, could he adapt and fulfill his assigned goal, or will he be destined to fail and never become part of the planet he had once tried to destroy.
