What is forgiveness?

They weren't supposed to meet. But life does that sometimes; it throws in a couple of new faces that bring you the utmost of joys in the most unlikeliest of places, and every now and then, you'll come across someone who changes you - someone who's genuine and wonderful and full of hope; someone who changes your perspective on the things that you had stored away in the cardboard box sitting in the dark corner of your closet, someone who opens up your eyes to new things; bright and beautiful things that you can't believe you hadn't seen before, someone who's iridescent. And once you meet them, nothing will ever compare.

After over 2 years together, Tori and Jc part their ways so Tori can fulfill her dream of going to college.. But things happen and the happily engaged couple turns into two different people living totally different lives on different sides of the country. Will they each meet someone new? I'm Amethyst Dawn Jonson and I live with a bad boy from hell. When every day is the same, what does the sun rise for? (WARNING!! Please read: TW Self harm // She rips her eyes out towards the end but I didn't rate it mature because that's the only portrayal of self harm. If you are uncomfortable with this but still want to read the story, in the second to last paragraph stop reading at "Never different." and skip to the last paragraph.)

“I like to think of clouds like people, cuz, if you think about it, we aren't very different from them. Clouds enter this world as a pattern, image, or whatever, and we admire them. They look like monkeys or objects or something beautiful. After a while, they change. Either to look like something else, or to look like a blob. Then, after a while, the cloud shrinks and disappear. Out of this world. Forever.” Fourteen-year-old photographer Daniel Cloud has always seen cloudier side of things—his parents die, he has to move halfway across the country, and that’s not the worst part: he’s gay. At the age of 11, poetry became an obsession. Some of my poems were, well, in need of help; however, others were actually very well put together. I decided to pull all of my poem works together and publish them for others to read, and, to maybe even inspire others. This collection is all my old works, my... Beginning poetry writing per-say. Some of them have a little backstory at the end to explain why I wrote what I did, but others don't, as I never really had a story. I just wrote. Please enjoy all the cringe-worthy poems I wrote in my preteen into my teen years, and I hope I have inspired you to write poems.
