Sorry) Master Chen and his loyal student, Clouse have been banned to the island for several years now, and Chen is looking for a way to gaining some sort of elemental power. While a young woman name Amber is looking to marry someone with riches. When the two meet, they seem to have an agreement.

Dark Sides is a Role Reversal AU series in which Wu was bitten by the Great Devourer instead of Garmadon. Wu still ends up training Kai, Jay, Zane, and Cole as his students. In response, Sensei Garmadon trains Nya, Pixal, Seliel, and Skylor (all elemental masters), and both sides are pitted against each other.

After the death of Master Chen and the other anacondrai warriors. Clouse is the only one left, who'd never betrayed his master. Now after he gets rejected by everybody else just because he worked for Master Chen. A girl named Su Yeon chooses to stay with him and not leave his side.
