All the readers know that they hate Katniss Everdeen...why? What is the history of the 74th Hunger Games District 2 Tributes? What happens "behind the scenes"? Cato Hadley was District 2's golden boy. His family has produced the longest line of Hunger Games Winners, each of the offspring volunteering to risk it all in the games. Clove Kentwell earned her spot in everything. Her family was poor, desperate for any type of wealth. All Clove wanted was a chance to prove herself, and she did...many many times. The 74th Annual Hunger Games give the pair something they have wished for their whole life, something they gave hours to train for: Glory. Praise. Eternal Spotlight in the Eyes of the Capitol. And the odds were in Cato and Cloves favor, them having both attended an elite training Academy, the odds WERE in their favor...until Katniss Everdeen showed up (this book includes pre-74th Hunger Games & the 74th Hunger Games) (lowercase intended for titles) (ive decided on chapters i deem necessary, i will add a song that is suggested to listen too while you read it!) i hope you enjoy! and may the odds be ever in your favor....

Clove has been training for one thing her entire life- winning the Hunger Games. She is the best knife thrower the training academy has ever seen and is obviously going into the games at some point. She just HAS to win the games, to prove herself to her dad. But at the end, will she want too? Cato has never been loved by his parents. They don't care that he trains harder than anyone else at the training center, or that he is the strongest in his grade. The only family member he loves is his little sister, and he'll do anything to protect her. He has to avenge his brother and make a better life for his sister, and the only way he can do that is win the games. Clove and Cato have never liked each other, but when its obvious they are the best candidates for tributes, they are forced to work and train together, and maybe learn a little too much about each other. Can they both make it out alive?

This is a Clato oneshot/story based on the song "I love you Im sorry" By Gracie Abrams. All credits go to Gracie Abrams and Suzanne Collins, Gracie 4 the song and Suzanne for the characters.

Cato loves Clove. Glimmer wants a different father. Finnick hates being the seventh wheel. Katniss needs to find Peeta. Peeta needs his timer to work so he doesn't burn his seduction bread. Clove needs a break. And Marvel? Marvel needs a cheese sandwich. This is just a bunch of oneshots(I might make it into a full fanfic... I don't know) about the tributes of the 74th and 75th Hunger Games if they were demigods. All of the characters belong to Suzanne Collins and Camp Half-Blood, Camp Jupiter, and any other demigod-related things belong to Rick Riordan. The plot is based on the PJO and HoO serieses, also written by Rick Riordan and belong to him. I did change part of the plot though to fit this fanfic, so don't replicate it without my permission.

Cato and Clove, the tributes from District Two, have trained their entire lives for the 74th hunger games, working and pushing harder and harder until they can live up to the expectations that come with being a career tribute. But deep down, behind the stone walls that they've built around their hearts, they hide the fact that their entire lives and all that they've ever trained to be, is a lie. A forced pretense that they've had to live up to simply because of their parent's wishes. Clove's father, an abusive alcoholic who couldn't care less about what his daughter actually wants, forces her to work to the breaking point and claims that she is to volunteer and become a well-known, victor. Cato has a family reputation to live up to, therefore he is forced into the assumption that he is to be a rough, brutish, and exceedingly handsome champion that everybody can't help but trip head-over-heels for. When Clove is eleven, her family is relocated to District Two from District One, and let's just say that her diminutive build and naive appearance is the perfect storm for a bullying incident. And that's exactly what happens. But there is one person who is willing to stick up for her, to save her from a swarm of blood-thirsty children who will do anything to appear tough. And just like that, an inseparable bond. But when Clove is fifteen, her father beats down upon his only daughter and threatens her. If she doesn't volunteer this year, he will disown her, leave her on the streets to fend for herself...or starve to death. What will sixteen-year-old Cato do when he is peer-pressured to enter the games? How will he cope with the fact that his best friend (and maybe something a little more) will have to volunteer against her own will? Two love-struck children, Twenty-four tributes, one victor. Are they willing to risk their friendship just to make their parents, and the entire district, proud? Or will they take the chance of death, just to stay together?

It's Clove Kentwell's first day as a junior at Panem High, and the school may as well be a battlefield. She has to navigate parties, drama, crushes, (and detention) as she makes her way through her junior year; not to mention, deal with the crush she's had on Cato since middle school. Will she emerge victorious from Panem High, or will she be just another scratch on a bathroom stall? (This is mostly a Clato story but will feature all of the Hunger Games characters!)
