How did you get in this situation again? It seemed like a hop-skip from your depressing life lead to one where you were constantly counseled by animate puppets. But, the seemingly innocent inhabitants around here...they were slipping up. Tempted to leave, and curious as to what lies behind its depths, you tread on through the painfully colorful world. -Part two of "I'm Home (Wally Darling x Reader)"-

This is to help any and everyone keep track of the MANY AU's there are for Welcome Home, because by God are there a lot :') I'm not entirely sure but I do believe someone on Ao3 is doing something similar (but I think that's a book of oneshots), so just keep that in mind when reading/checking :) For every AU there will be a brief summary of what the AUs about/how it goes, as well as necessary credits. Welcome to the neighborhood, is a thriller sort of fanfiction based on the ARG series welcome home. Our story focuses on a woman in an unknown protection and security agency, that is currently based right outside the neighborhood. After her brother is sent in alone to investigate this strange place, hours pass and any and all contact with him is cutoff. As any good older sister would our heroine of the story sets off to save and find her brother in this mccobb and disturbing cartoon world. The art on the cover does not belong to me and in fact belongs Clown illustrations the original ARG creator. (DISCLAIMER!!!! This fanfic is not for the fate of heart, it is based off of a horror ARG and thus has heavy and graphic scenes. These scenes may include self-harm, general violence, and manipulation, If you are sensitive to any of these subjects I suggest you click away now. Wally was a puppet and this puppet had strings. What if he snapped his strings? Would he be able to help his fellow neighbors- his friends, break their own strings too? Would he be able to help his home break the chains that bind them to the ground? I have no idea what I'm doing with this au, so I don't know where to go with the story. I want to work on fleshing it out along with character designs, how the characters behave, their important traits, how they're being mapped out (I have a Minecraft world for this lol), and several other things for this au.
