This story is an experiment in tiered storytelling. Updating miniature 300-500 word fragments at a time, each of them hopefully passable as their own flash fiction element. I started this as a joint project between nano and starting my flash fiction group, and I'll be updating the stories to the Flash Fiction Phenomenon group on Facebook, which is an open club that anyone can join, readers and writers. I'll be filling in any gaps here, as I'm sure some will creep up. It's hard to compile flash fiction in this way, at least for me, but I'm making a challenge out of it. I hope you enjoy.

My Round Three entry for the UWSClub Writing Challenge coming in at 1,850 words. With technology Yes, technology. The thing that supports us with Grocery stores, transportation vehicles, and more. Imagine a situation where all of it is wiped out. We have to relearn our survival skills. This story follows the journey of three teens during the aftermath of a Coronal Mass Ejection, which is basically a burst of energy from the sun, that once hits the earth's magnetic field, causing technology to catch on fire.
