This story is about you and Gongchan's relationship. It's starts when you two are in High School, How Cute! When you two are married, with one child, you two start realizing you're polar opposites! Will you two remain together? Find out when you read "My Bestfriend, Gongchan"!

The story starts with a Chinese girl from Hong Kong named Gloria who goes to Australia to pursue her career as a music teacher after college. She moves into a condominium with a cafe on the ground floor. What later she did not know, lived a Korean man right next to her flat. As they both see each other, their minds run in endless thoughts to who that person they just saw.

Shinwoo is struggling to make ends meet. Gongchan is hiding something. Baro isn't making good choices. Jinyoung is leaving the hospital. Sandeul is dead. The talented boyband, B1A4, came to an end when their entertainment company went bankrupt. Years have passed since the boys were together. So much had changed. The band will never be the same. Youngwoong soon stands out for his love of his trot music earning him a lot of ajumma fans soon becoming "Mr. Trot" for reviving a traditional genre of music.
