The perils of accepting help.

"Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high There's a land that I heard of once in a lullaby..." Angela lived most of her life behind the curtains of her childhood. As her twenty-second birthday approaches, she learns to say goodbye to the gentle flame that kept her in the clouds, allowing herself a safe landing to adulthood.

(My first completely original fic! :D) On a mountain far, far, away lived Princess Maria Pidgel VIII and the rest of her family. One day it had been claimed her family was a fraud and the real was missing. Sadly of the proof they gave was enough to convince their subjects. Soon they were overthrown and discarded in the dungeon by their own people. While in her cell a familiar face comes to her rescue, promising her freedom. All is hopeful until the two get lost in the miry woods on the outskirts of town. What will they do with only each other and no one to turn to?
