Wake up before his brother can hog the bathroom (it takes effort to look this handsome every day), head over to his daily training with the Master Knights, flirt a little (or a lot) with the local maidens, and try not to start screaming from nightmares in the middle of the night. When Zaethiel and his brother, Astoerin, are selected to join a nonpareil group of knights to go after a bounty, he's ecstatic. And terrified. He hits the road with only one thought: revenge against the monsters that murdered his father. But when he trips over-literally-a small, enigmatic witch travelling with a demon of all things, his routine is thrown into chaos. And what happens when Astoerin begins to doubt the ideology that ruled over them for the past ten years?
