Follow the lives of two young teenage girls?

17 year old Terpetra Falloak from district 7 and 16 year old Diless Singoak from district 12 are both chosen for the 42nd Hunger Games. Their lives are destined cross by far more then just the fact that they are both in the same game however. Only time will tell what happens between these two and which will make it out of the games alive.

Every wizard receives a master to train under for either the remainder of their lives or until they receive a mission from the Council. That mission acknowledges them as fully fledged and eligible for their own apprentice. Avair gets the short end of the stick when it comes to masters; Dr. Oxar- A man known for hard tests and seemingly lack of teaching. Frist is a Valkyrie, fully fledged and gone on several missions- and sitting down having coffee while her best friend (a shape shifter no less) rants about their terrible home life while Frist wonders if the barista got her order right or if she doesn't like caramel cappuccinos that much. Paradox, a shape shifter repressing their powers because their mother wants a picture perfect life that doesn't include the fluidity Paradox needs, convinces Frist to go to the Wizarding Academy graduation- for them at the very least. These 3 have almost nothing in common but their paths cross when the Council shoves the 3 of them- plus the unwilling bonus of Oxar- down a rabbit hole lined with conspiracy, adventure and maybe... love?

I am not that bad, Harvey!” He gave me a cheeky smile. “I know.” He stared off into space for a second then gasped. He turned to me. “I just thought of a better nickname for you!” “Which is?” “Waffles,” he gave me a lopsided grin. I rolled my eyes. “Then you’re Wakaberry.”
