He was captivated by her wilderness, entranced by her wit. Raven black hair and dark blue-gray eyes, power seething from his very scent, a hard jaw begging to be touched and a voice hotter than hell. She had never wanted something more, the coal mine of course, not the darkishly attractive man who was nothing more than an arrogant, misogynistic bastard! Or at least that's what she had thought.
