A rivalry between two species, each trying to gain control of contestants from two shows in a card game. A lot of people are manipulated, or even forced to choose a side, permanent death being the result of denying to do so. As more of them are forced to fight each other, more are killed. In the end, who'll win? Perfect at making sure those pests are entertained and out of his way, but still loyal to him. Him and only him. Loyalty runs in and out their eyes. One mistake can collapse everything.

Cobs greatly underestimated the peaceful Shimmers, and now he has to adjust to living in their society as a "prisoner" of war. Surrounded by new technology and confusing traditions, can he adjust to this planet? Content warnings: Blood/Gore, Body modifications, discussions of war, discussions of weapons.
