After saving The Forgotten World, Slick and Alex are going back in time to save history from an returning evil that haunted the Wumpa Island before. With some help of a sibling of a "fallen" hero, can they SAVE history or BE history?

It's a normal day at Wumpa Island where Sonja is finishing her favorite story which it's "The Little Mermaid." When Cortex hears the ending of the story, he vows that he'll write his own version of The Little Mermaid. In his version, Sonja is the Mermaid who saved Cortex from drowning after Crash defeated him. Cortex will be sure that there's an ending where Sonja won't turn into sea foam.

In the small town of Moonville there are three brothers, Crash Crunch and Coco, will live some crazy adventures that will make you laugh, get angry, cry, scream in terror, it all depends if you woke up this morning feeling like a ray of sunshine or if you want to kill your boss.

We all know that old saying: 'From the ashes of Phoenix, we shall rise.' What if a fire caused Crash and Cortex to come together as friends again? Obliviously an alternate universe, set during Crash of the Titans (after Nina was defeated) and a new villain arises. Can Crash save the day?

*Random Crash Bandicoot au idea: Dr Cortex and N. Brio made Crash and Coco (just like in the game) but the catch? They're just babies, not fit for world domination yet. Cortex decided that N. Gin shall care for the two rodents. As you can imagine, the physicist with a rocket is not prepared for this. (Note: I haven't really written for these characters before, even if I am familiar with them. Not everything in this fic will be canon compliant)
