Lili Walker is a great doctor, she has finished top of her class from Stanford, she used to be a model, one of the top models in the world. So some people don't take her seriously as a doctor.

"Hey sweetheart." Sam hugged me. "I think I met with my dad." I murmured. "That's good darling." he kissed my hair. "But maybe it's just a coincidence." I whimpered.

In halls so cold where whispers grow, a surgeon digs what none should know. A sneak peek inside: That's when I took in the scene before me. A heart transplant surgery. Oh. Oh. Now it made sense why they hadn't wanted me in here. And why they were desperate for an extra set of hands. I quickly positioned myself near the ECG machine, watching the readings and reporting any electrical activity. That's when I noticed something. The heart had been transplanted. But it wasn't beating. A weight settled in my stomach. I wasn't the only one who noticed-the tension in the room was suffocating. Every surgeon was focused, waiting, hoping- Then, something happened that made my own heart stop. The patient opened her eyes. Slowly. Deliberately. She stared straight ahead, unfocused yet aware. And then, she spoke. "I'll never let them do that to me again. NEVER AGAIN." The OR felt like it had plummeted into absolute silence. My mind short-circuited. That wasn't-she wasn't supposed to be-this wasn't happening. Right? No one else reacted. Not a single person even flinched. No gasps. No confusion. No "what the hell was that?" Just steady hands and surgical precision, as if nothing had happened. Except for him.
