When the bored and hopeless Noah, speculates a supernatural phenomenon happening that had relation with Owen's friend named Cody, he starts a small quest on observing him for as long as he can. He gets paired up for a school's theater show, with the desperate gap toothed, cool guy wannabe, and understands this person's connection to the weather. He was fascinated by the idea, in which, when the rain pours, Cody was joyful, but when the sun shone, it was the complete opposite.
