When a mysterious force transports groups of Warrior Cats and Fighter Canines into the whimsical yet troubled world of Toontown Rewritten, they find themselves caught in a three-way conflict. Toontown, a vibrant cartoon metropolis, is already under siege by the humorless Cogs, robotic businessmen bent on eradicating all joy and replacing it with corporate monotony. Now, the arrival of these feline and canine warriors adds another layer of complexity to the ongoing war. As the cats and dogs struggle to adapt to this strange new reality, they must confront not only the Cog threat but also their own ingrained rivalries. Will they be able to set aside their differences and unite with the toons to defend their shared new home? Or will the Cogs exploit their divisions and conquer Toontown once and for all?

Every one of them has a secret wish and this story is how those quiet desires unfold, changing the world around them. Follow these young people as they discover truth, lies and find their ways to each other.

They wish us to become sad and alone, but we Toons fight back by making them laugh. We throw Gags at them; things that make them giggle, laugh and even smile. We destroy their cold hearts by warming them with foolishness." When she could see the fear in my eyes, she would always end it with: "But you don't have to worry about those things, Willow.
