Alex, a soon to be lawyer, is thrilled to be on jury service for one of the most media covered court cases in Denver for years, but when someone approaches her and threatens to end her life if the man on trial is found guilty, Alex must put her life on pause and enter witness protection. Jane, a confident and skilled US Marshal, is not pleased to hear that she has been asked to take another lawyer into witness protection, but when she learns it is the daughter of Katherine jones, a well respected criminal lawyer, she graciously agrees. Will Alex be able to solve who is after her and can Jane stay professional all whilst trying to keep Alex safe from the those hired to kill her?
