Having just turned 18, Melanie Winters is of age to attend the Royal Mating Ball at the Alpha Kings castle. Melanie was in no rush to find her mate, she loved her independence and wasn't ready to give that up, but as her mother once told her, one whiff of your mates scent and she'll change her mind. Alpha Greyson Black of the Royal Family is 27 and still hasn't found his mate. While he longs for her day and night, he has chosen to relieve his frustration in.....other ways..... that don't involve clothes.....or his mate. This was his final Mating Ball before he gave up and would make another she wolf his luna, but all those thoughts flew out of the window when he caught scent of her. She's warm and loving. He's icy cold. Opposites are supposed to attract. -------------------------------------------------- "Just reject me already." I whimpered, trying to squirm out of his tight grasp. Her laugh was quiet, barely above a whisper, but the delicious sound still met his ears. Her eyes were big, her face delicate, her smile blinding and in that moment he knew. Knew that she was his sun. Sometimes, people just aren't meant to shine.
