Coldwinter Stories

"Snowflakes are in ColdWinter, what are in Autumn?" Kim Ara, sister of Kim Taehyung. Taehyungs friends are staying over for a while and Ara doesn't like the idea of being only women in the house for 6 months. She always locks her rooms door. What if she doesn't?

This poem is metaphorically comparing a winter experience to a person who has fallen into depression, causing feelings of despair, loneliness, and numb/emptiness to be brought upon them. This poem goes along with the same but different comparison as my poem, "Autumn's Breeze", as both are using metaphors for mental health using the seasons.

My whole life, I am being eaten by my timid and unsocial self. All I wanted is to make friends. At a certain point, I thought it's about time I get out of my box. Pulling my courage I tried and tried but keep failing. Thinking I might fail again, I hesitated trying to approach the guy who seems to be sitting on the same place like me. Just as I'm about to leave he caught my arm. As I turned to him, I caught his eye. We stare at each other and the thought lingers in me; Is this the friendship I was waiting for?

This is a story about a girl who lives at a Boarding school who need to go sell sulfur sticks on the street in the cold winter, she only was able to sell 10 of them but that was ofcourse not enough. As it was Christmas everyone was inside celebrating but she didn't want to go back. It was a very cold winter as she was all alone on the street. it was cold so she got to sit down, to feel warm a bit she used a sulfur sticks but it didn't help much till this mistiry man came and took her with him to his place
