Kingdom Syphix had a special reputation for having a demon as a citizen. That may have been why they kept the Scourge around in the first place, considering the kingdom turned into a tourist attraction because of him. Even with all of the popularity they were getting, the demon was never praised. While the rest of the gladiators showered in affection and riches, the Scourge was ridiculed. Nobody would want to care for a being that could kill a hundred men if he had the mind to. Atlas Syphix, the daughter of the corrupt king, started going to the coliseum to watch the violence because of the boredom she had sitting in her palace. One day, in particular, she saw a gladiator that was nothing like the others. He was muscular, tall, and intimidating. He was everything that a common person wasn't. Atlas had her eyes on a demon, but as the king forbids The Scourge to experience any form of social interaction, she would have to talk to him in secret.

Humanity is riddled with tales of happiness, grandeur, loss, and despair. Life is akin to an adventure of sorts, so every person has a story to tell And, over the milennia, I imagine that if the earth could talk, we would begin to see it as one vast library. But of all things, these tales, happening in relatively distant places and cultures, bear one common trait. They all happen under one sky.
