Kingdom Syphix had a special reputation for having a demon as a citizen. That may have been why they kept the Scourge around in the first place, considering the kingdom turned into a tourist attraction because of him. Even with all of the popularity they were getting, the demon was never praised. While the rest of the gladiators showered in affection and riches, the Scourge was ridiculed. Nobody would want to care for a being that could kill a hundred men if he had the mind to. Atlas Syphix, the daughter of the corrupt king, started going to the coliseum to watch the violence because of the boredom she had sitting in her palace. One day, in particular, she saw a gladiator that was nothing like the others. He was muscular, tall, and intimidating. He was everything that a common person wasn't. Atlas had her eyes on a demon, but as the king forbids The Scourge to experience any form of social interaction, she would have to talk to him in secret.

Hunter called himself an archaeologist, but he was a modern day treasure hunter. Tiyana was a scientist devoted to her craft. They were passionate people, wholly devoted to their work. Neither of them had time for love. Neither of them could resist it when it happened. Neither of them knew that the world would need the two of them to save it from a tyrannical pre-historic overlord, his cyborg vampire paramour, and their army of mindless drudges. Dawn of the Epoch is an epic science fiction novel about dark matter, death rays, nuclear warfare, and the Large Hadron Collider, but it is also a fantasy novel about medieval warriors, alchemy, and ancient gods. Dawn of the Epoch blends fantasy with reality, bringing mythology to life today. It is also an apocalyptic thriller spanning the globe from the Pyramids of Egypt to the heart of Africa to the majesty of the Himalayas. It is an epic hybrid-genre story with intense action sequences, magic, mythology, suspenseful plot twists, countless obstacles for the protagonists to overcome, and an utterly Machiavellian supernatural villain. Testimonials: "Probably one of my favorite books I've read to date. Brilliantly complex, adoringly rendered and quizzically intense. A must read and one I plan to revisit, and share!" - Amgwatts, Wattpad Reader "This has to be one of the most original and well written novels I have had the pleasure to read, on Wattpad and in general. It was captivating, interesting, immersive and above all, fantastic. I was left in awe of the beings, history and world you created. It was never dull, dry or predicable and it was a nice change from what seems to be the ever popular teen romance with vampires or werewolves or 'bad boys that are actually romantic good boys.' In the end it was a very pleasant surprise." -IridescentLies, Wattpad Reader http://dawnoftheepoch.weebly.com

Humanity is riddled with tales of happiness, grandeur, loss, and despair. Life is akin to an adventure of sorts, so every person has a story to tell And, over the milennia, I imagine that if the earth could talk, we would begin to see it as one vast library. But of all things, these tales, happening in relatively distant places and cultures, bear one common trait. They all happen under one sky.

A hundred and forty-three years after the murder of Julius Caesar, the mortar is barely dry between the great Travertine slabs that hold up the Flavian Amphitheater—the Colosseum of Rome. Lucius Viterbus, a young poet from the country, has a horrible job cleaning up after bestial and gladiatorial “games.” In the grisly remains of the Ludi Romani, he finds a giant mastiff, stunned but alive, The brutish head of his crew, Baractes, wants to kill the dog. But Lucius revives the beast and takes him home—to a stable in the worst slum of central Rome. Soon, Lucius and Livilla—an independent, but lonely 14-year-old girl who studies Greek with the stable owner—establish a thriving business, leveraging Jace’s strength and fierce appearance. But they haven’t planned on the greed, lust, and violence that winds around the lives of the people of Rome as surely as the Tiber winds through the city itself. One by one, the main characters are separated and the future becomes darker and darker. But in Lucius, Livilla, and Jace, the old Roman virtues—bravery and loyalty—are strong. Whatever the outcome, there will be mighty struggles and proud deeds.

I started writing this book at the age of fourteen as a pass time, but as I wrote more I began to love the people I had created. It took me a long time to write this, but by the end of secondary school it was complete. I only heard of this site recently and only after I got my book published. However, all I even wanted was to share my book, my story. If you want to read something that comes from the soul then I invite you with open arms to read my creation. I love it so... and I hope you will too. Addition note is that the first paragraph is simply an introduction to one character, you really need to keep reading into the second and third chapters to see who everyone is and such forth. So please do read up 'til then, comments and votes will be equally welcomed. Thank you :) __________________________________________________________ Behind His Scarf follows the two new students of Kaiun High School. Sakura is a quiet, hard working girl with golden hair; whilst Lucifer is a rebellious boy with a terrible temper. Their worlds become entwined when Lucifer finds out Sakura's secret and forces her to go out with him. Mortified by the agreement, Sakura learns the truth about Lucifer and begins questioning her own past. Discovering the kinder side of Lucifer, Sakura gets dragged into his world and finds much more than she bargained for.
