Rufus comes to the Coliseum as a criminal. For getting involved in the revolution, his best friend is dead. She is gone and he is her murderer, according to the government. But the government cares too much. They provide everything and anything the population needs or could ever want. As a result the spark of genius is gone. However, there is one place left which still excites the masses. The Coliseum is an island where all the malcontents and woebegone are sent. But before a gladiator can entire Coliseum they must prove their mettle on Flag. So this is where Rufus has been sent, to live or die on the islands that he hates with a passion.

I started writing this book at the age of fourteen as a pass time, but as I wrote more I began to love the people I had created. It took me a long time to write this, but by the end of secondary school it was complete. I only heard of this site recently and only after I got my book published.
