A song of winds, I'll sing for you On wings of zephyr from skies of blue, Lines of heartfelt emotion Or silly ideas in a poem. Each of these will be a part Straight to you, from my heart. If you like one part and not others, If you leave a star on it, I'll know your druthers.

The living diary of a hopeless romantic girl who started processing big feelings through poems at 17 and grew up feeling, hurting, loving, and starting over. My diary. My feelings. Come grow with me as I navigate my twenties, miss my childhood, and think about life from a place of having no place in the world at all. Let us be brave enough to be soft, and soft enough to be as deeply sensitive as we can. I highly recommend reading out of order. Let your intuition (or the poem titles) decide which point in time speaks to you.

Here is a collection of most of the poems I have written - from those that were written just for fun to those that were written with the heaviest of emotions. Unfortunately, my far earlier works are currently misplaced at the moment, but what's great about this book is that once I find them or once I've created new ones, another chapter will be added - a book that goes on forever 'til my mind is no longer literate.

This is a compilation of my works in the year of 2016. I was pretty active that year, really inspired by love and friends, and started reading and discussing philosophical things. It was also the year that our group the Ice Cream Club did the 100 days of poetry challenge. We didn't finish though, as personal life and work etc. got in the way. But it was fun and I'm still hoping we're gonna start a new challenge and complete it next time. Anyway, I'm still compiling these, but can originally be found in my Deviantart account (search Venusoftherain in DA). I still have lots of old poetry and prose in my laptop (they're from my notebooks and I typed them up in Word), and I'm gonna upload them too. My mind is a playground of words and phrases and I arrange them into poems; A collection of self-written poems.

During the past few years I found out that people I used to be friends with would talk about me behind the scenes, creating their own scripts and scenarios & making me the villain in their own story. Not only that, the general public, along with social media, would sometimes twist the narrative about climate change and world's wellness & I felt the need to write about it. Other than that, this project also revolves around my past, involving all kinds of emotions, vulnerability, growth and healing. In a way, this is me letting go. This is me storytelling through poetry about who I am to a greater extent. With this collection, I wanted to show you a different side of me, I wanted to go deeper into my own identity & life's considerations in general. Last but not least, this project is also a reminder that everything will be okay. It's a reminder to not give up because we are all in this world, in this time, for a reason. Trust the process, be faithful to your intuition and values, believe in yourself. You're not alone in this, I am here with you.
