At a highly respected and tough law school called Aethelred Law University, we meet Elara Vance and Liam Thorne. Both are very smart, but they're also hurting inside. As they push through their demanding legal studies, they're also fighting personal battles: old hurts from their pasts, struggles with their minds and feelings, and the constant stress from their difficult families.
