Author's Note: This story was written during my college days as part of a Creative Writing class activity. Our teacher challenged us with a "What If" prompt, asking us to continue or reimagine a part of Zeus' mythology using at least one original character from Greek myth. This is my take on it - a story of a mortal woman, an unsuspecting night, and the son she raised alone. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. - Jond Cyrd On the forgotten island of Habescus, a lonely woman named Eurydei lived quietly among her gardens - unaware that a single night with a mysterious stranger would forever change the course of her life. Years later, her son Euryzeus begins to discover a power no ordinary man should possess. A tale of an unexpected encounter, a god's secret, and a demigod's awakening - The Story of Eurydei and Euryzeus is a myth reimagined, where love, mystery, and divine blood collide.

This is a short story, merely something I wrote for my College Writing I class. It is about my journey from being a fiction writer to writing essays. (Cover art is not mine)
