Researching her absent father - who long ago left to be among the first settler of the Martian colony Selah - caused a cataclysmic shift in her life and her thinking. A while back in my English/Language Arts class, I was given the task to write a science fiction style short story. My teacher loved it, so I'm sharing it with all the world to see. It's in only one part, but I hope you guys like it!
