Following a global crisis known as WWIII, the world is left as a nuclear wasteland. The survivors are quickly evacuated to 2 areas with already developing colonies: Antarctica and the moon. While the moon follows a governmental structure similar to that of the US prewar, Antarctica keeps a totalitarian grip. Follow an Antarctican, Celestia Amoria, a young woman born into the Inquisition. Her duty is to wipe out any possible political agitators, an assassin of sorts until one day, she ends up meeting someone that will draw her into their cause but will the prospect of death for her beliefs keep her away from what she truly believes?

Far in the future when humans begin to invade the surface of the Moon, Mackenzie Fletcher gets contacted to make a journey from her normal life on Earth up to space to aid in a mysterious illness that has spread throughout the colony on the Moon. As Mackenzie races against the clock to find a successful formula to aid the inhabitants of the Moon, more and more people end up with the sickness and encounter death. Will she be victorious in her attempts or will they all die in space, without anyone to remember their last words? This is originally a narrative that I have written for my English class sophomore year. There is a second part to this story called The Colonial Case which I also wrote for that same class. I thought that since I have no more use for this story, that I would post it on here for you guys to enjoy! I'm posting the story in chapters although there wasn't meant to be any, so sorry if each chapter doesn't end off the best if could. Let me know what you think! xoxo Annabelle
