Isla Wilson, a girl who lives in Los Angeles California. She is 20 years old and lives with her father. When she was 10 years old she was in a car accident with her older brother Jason and her mother Rene. They both died and ever since Isla's whole life had changed. One day walking home from the diner she worked at. Isla meets a mysterious man who saves her from a situation that no girl wants to be in. Matteo Moretti, a man of the Italian mafia. He's cold he's mean he's cruel. Very protective of his family, he lost his mom, Victoria Moretti when he was just a kid. His dad Giovanni Moretti, was hard on him, always pushed him to prepare to take his place as the leader of the Italian mafia. One day walking the streets of Los Angeles, Matteo noticed a man dragging a women into an alley way. He at first thought that maybe that man was her father, then he heard the begging and the pleading for the man to stop. Yes he was a man of the mafia and yes what he does is illegal, but if there's anything that Matteo does not like it's sexual assault . Matteo didn't realize that helping this girl was gonna change his life forever.

A story about the disrespect of colored people and how they are treated. Set back in 1973, when some white people were disrespectful and rude to women and men of color. At the end of this story both races will accept each other for who they are color or not.

The purpose of this essay, The Declaration for Black Educators and Our Allies, is for Black Educators and Allies to take action inside of the classrooms. Education is at an all time low in inner cities schools and it needs to be taken seriously in order to see the change we want in the world.
