Bruce Wayne, SHIELD, and Tony Stark have decided to open an Avengers base in Gotham City. And like any Avengers Base, they need a team. Assembled are six of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Their leader is Barbara Gordon, the Batwoman. Also part of the team is Peter Parker, the Spider-Man. Dinah Lance, the Black Canary. Jessica Jones-Cage, AKA Power-Woman. Piotr Rasputin, AKA Colossus. And Virgil Hawkins, AKA Static. Together, they are the Gotham Avengers! (Sequel to Spider-Man vs. Darkwing)

i suck at descriptions!!!!!! it is a fanfic about runaway mutants that have a hard time trusting anyone. but, to be safe from the law, they join professor X's institute for the gifted. Question is, will they runaway, or finally find a family? And is there more that they are running from?

Colossus discovers Wade in his bed and demands him to leave, but when Wade comes crawling back a few hours later, Colossus decides to find out just way the merc is laying in his bed.

I was 9 years old when it happened. I thought I was crazy, until it actually happened. Then it happened again with a girl from school. I tried to warn her, but they didn't believe me and thought I was trying to scare her. I had to talk to a psychiatrist because my mother believed, or hoped, I was disturbed, until what I said came true. After that the visions just kept coming. My mother knew what I was and wanted nothing to do with me. She had me taken away, she claimed I was unstable. I was there for years until my father, a man I had never met, got me out. I never met him, I was never even told his name, and yet I knew so much about him. He took me away to his school to help me, but I know it won't get better. I know so much but how do I tell anyone? How can I tell them, we're all going to die?

Story centers around mostly Rogue and Gambit with a little Shadowcat and Colossus and Scarlet Witch and Pyro mixed in. Rogue has pretty much gained control of her powers but she is still afraid to touch. Can a certain Cajun thief help her get over her fears?

"Hello?" Xavier spoke into the phone receiver after answering it. "Charles? It's nice to talk to you my friend though I wish this were of a happier subject." the familiar feminine voice of Dr. MacTaggert sounded. "Is everything okay?" He asked curious though excited. "Well we found something you need to see. Or some people I suppose." She said to him and Xavier sat forward with a growing smile, "I will be there soon." He stated and hung up quickly before calling for Scott Jean and Ororo.

After the adventures of Wander and Ico, a man rises once more to defeat the sixteen guardians of the Forbidden Land.
