The moment the car hit their truck, Arianna's life was changed forever. It had all happened so fast, she didn't understand it all until it was too late. Bright headlights, pain in her head, the small horse trailer toppling down the hill. When she woke up in the hospital, she had no mom, a broken family, and a dangerous rescue colt her mom had bought for Arianna as her last gift to her daughter. Yet, for the first time in her life, Arianna was afraid to go near the horse. Not because she was afraid of the colt, but because he was the reason her mother was dead. Arianna felt broken and alone, with no one to understand what she was going through. She was determined to get rid of the colt, to take away the evidence of her mother's death, but that would mean sacrificing all she had left of her. It only takes a moment, to change everything forever. To change what you have always known. Even after going Rogue he is still hounded by the mistakes he has made, the packs he has crossed, and the wolves he has killed. A beast like him deserves to be left alone, to wallow in self-pity and hate until the day he dies. Was it fated that these two meet or sheer dumb luck?
