When 12 year old Ryland and Colt Seavers are sent to live with their estranged older brother in the middle of the woods, neither knows what their new normal will be. What Ryland didn't expect was their new town to be anything but normal or to meet his new best friend, a crash-landed alien that is pretending to be their new 'talking dog'. This new town is filled with scientific impossibilities and mysteries around every corner. or ET and Gravity Falls meet project Hail Mary in a story about brotherly love, where two boys from a broken home come together to create a new home with their murderer brother, and a new talking pet dog that Ryland found in the woods and is definitely a dog and not an alien from outer space!

Ryland Grace wakes up with no memory of who he is or why he's 11.9 lightyears away from home. The mission is clear long before everything else is, save humanity. Thea Nyx remembers everything, Thea remembers the mission details, the home she left behind, Earth, and most of all she remembers Ryland Grace. The two team up with Rocky to save their respective suns, Thea carries the weight of her memories while Grace works to get his back. Piece by piece, memory by memory, it's all starting to come back into place. Thea hopes maybe this time, something will change.
