Dear Shirley is Jefferson Highs advice columnist, everyone writes to her. The most common advice she has to give out is about the schools most popular guy, Grayson Max. Her advice makes her the most popular girl in school, but the catch is, no one knows who she is. It’s a secret no one know it’s Opel Madison, the school nerd. She looks pretty normal, she isn’t ugly nor is she crazy; she is just an easy target. What happens when Opel’s parents get a call for work at the last second and have to leave her with their Nabors for two months? Whose son happens to be Grayson? Will her secret be safe or will she just fall for his cheesy lines like the people who write to her.
