Enjolras knows it's the end of the line when his friends have all been killed and he alone remains, standing defiant against the National Guard. He was prepared to die for his friends and countrymen. Of course, he was joined by Grantaire in his last moments, holding his hand as they were both shot. Enjolras knew he was dead. That was, until he wakes up in a bed that is not his, in a room that is not his, and in a time period that is definitely not his. His old friends are alive and well, but Enjolras seems to be the only one who remembers their failed revolution. Or: Enjolras is shot at the barricades on that day in 1832, but wakes up in the future with no memorizes of a life there.

Requests are open! I will accept any level of angst. There is no such thing as too much angst for me to write. Who doesn't want their favorite characters to go through severe emotional trauma because something happened to you or the other person included in their ship? Literally, if someone requests it I will make a preference and throw you in a meat grinder for your barricade boy to watch. I promise I'm okay, I'm just an angsty writer. I will NOT write smut or a breakup preference. Why do you wanna break up with one of these guys? I couldn't. Besides those two things, I will do everything in my power to fulfill your desires. I should mention that I write with the assumption that the reader is a girl by default. If you are a male, please let me know and I will post versions of the preferences for male readers, as well. Not the last time I checked, no. Am I French? Well, a little, but for the most part, no. Did I write Les Misérables? Let's put it this way: If I did, things would have ended much, much differently. Did I write The Hunchback of Notre Dame? If I did, Disney would have changed so much more to make it kid-friendly. By these circumstances, you should in no way, shape, or form confuse me for Victor Hugo.

Enjolras absolutely despises Grantaire. That's a fact Grantaire can live with, however -- or, at least, he could. Now, however, he's discovered these neat things called painkillers, and for some deluded reason, he thinks he can use them for emotional pain. Alright, so a while back. Back when I was only a young Wattpader (like 2018) I got into the Les Mis fandom because I was in love with Eddie Redmayne. And my 13 year old self not knowing better, scoured Wattpad for any Les Mis fanfic I could find. Hyperfixating is fun. But eventually, I moved on from Marius to Enjolras during that time because nobody fucking wrote fanfics for Marius so I was like fuck it. So I read EVERY FUCKING FANFICTION I FOUND. Okay maybe not everything but it eventually got hard to actually find anymore books I hadn't read. If you remember AhtibatCodnob1314 spamming your comment sections, no you don't. But here I am to summarize every bad Les Mis fanfic ever. With included POVs of the character and the OCs.

Alexander (Alex for short) Apollo is Enjolras Apollo's younger sister, by 16 years. She is an alchemist, or as Courfeyrac likes to say 'a mini witch'. That gets on her nerves. Now 10 year old Alex tries her next experiment with the help of her brother-like friend Grantaire. And for once it goes right which is a surprise as Alex's projects often go wrong. But the boys have been turned into 5 year olds again. That means Alex and Grantaire now have to look after them. But Alex is slightly breaking down. She has tests, her 5 year old sister to look after, the boys that are now 5 and people questioning Enjolras having full custody over her. Not to mention the fact that she's practically invisible! After all, a 10 year old shouldn't go through that.

The Moulin Rouge. A nightclub, a dance hall and bordello. Ruled over by Montparnasse. A kingdom of nighttime pleasures, where the rich and powerful came to play with the young and beautiful creatures of the underworld. The most beautiful of all of these, was the man Enjolras loved... Grantaire. A dancer, who sold his love to people. They called him "The Glittering Emerald." He was the star of the Moulin Rouge. (As usual, I'm posting this for my very talented friend!
