this story is about Soap x Ghost, also yes you, COD fan boys get over it, people been Shipping them since 2009 so anyways this story takes place in mw2[yes I play COD] in the mission alone

A pair of Michael Mell oneshots The character he's being shipped with is a gender neutral person who uses they/them pronouns. I wrote this a long time ago when Michael Mell was my comfort character so y'know... This can be viewed as romantic or platonic. both are technically fair interpretations of this. TW: suicide, depression, anxiety Comfort characters are the fictional beings who pull us out of poor mental health. They whisper that we WILL be okay, that we need to get out of bed and get dressed and chase after life. In Rescue, I wanted to solidify this idea. Bucky Barnes is just one of the comfort characters I've held onto when struggling with my mental health. Some of us struggle with depression, anxiety, and/or suicidal thoughts. It's real, and that is tragic. Please note that it is not my intention to romanticize suicide, depression, or anxiety in this fan fiction. Rather, my hope is to use this story as a metaphor for the relief we find in people -- and stories. Rescue is set between Endgame and Wandavision. All characters beyond Ebony the Night Witch belong to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
