With the progression of human society and the emergence of an ever-growing number of metahumans, there is unrest building in the vampire world; the struggle to remain hidden and striking from the shadows when they need to feed is becoming an increasing hassle, which they do not fancy. The two factions of the vampire society see different prospects as solutions. The Drucules, who already loathe the human race, wish to launch a preemptive strike on the human race in an effort to reduce its population. The Alucadians, more tolerant of humans, wish to emerge from the shadows with knowledge that could steer humanity into a lulling peace that would allow vampires alternatives to violence to obtain sustenance. Despite this, there is infighting within the vampire society that would see a civil war come about, infighting that seems to be fueled by a saboteur if anyone would care to observe events for more than two seconds. Meet Dylan O'Conner Reilly a young 15 year old kid who's life hasn't been all that great when he was born his mother died at birth and he never knew his father so he's been living with his grandparents since then and life hasn't been...ok his grandparents weren't rich hell they could barley afford to keep their mortgage on their house. But one day during a field trip to Alchemax he was accidentally bitten by one of their genetically radioactive spiders and was given extraordinary powers. Enhanced Strength, speed, agility, etc but Dylan decided to use these powers to get some extra money so he could help his grandparents and he joined an underground Mutant Fighting ring where the winner gets $5,000. After joining the ring and taking down their greatest fighter he went to collect his money only for it to come up short then he walks away not before heating commotion and saw a robber stealing the money instead of stopping him Dylan let him go and simply said "not my problem" words he'll soon regret. Reaching home he saw multiple cops standing outside where he finds out both his grandparents were shot and killed by a robber after seeing the description hr went out hunting and once he captured the man he realized it was the same one he let go. The man would trip and fall to his own death Dylan would be sent to an Orphanage to live until either he gets adopted or turns 18. But Dylan would replay the last words he heard from his grandfather and decided to use his powers to protect people he became a vigilante called Spider-Man and vowed to his his powers responsibly and to protect anyone no matter what.
