It started in 2008 with the death of my grandmother: every subsequent year came with at least one death. Most people write letters to the living. I, on the other hand? I write letters to the dead. π•΄π–’π–†π–Œπ–Žπ–“π–Š π–‡π–Šπ–Žπ–“π–Œ π–†π–‡π–‘π–Š 𝖙𝖔 π–˜π–Šπ–“π–‰ π–”π–“π–Š π–‹π–Žπ–“π–†π–‘ π–’π–Šπ–˜π–˜π–†π–Œπ–Š 𝖙𝖔 π–™π–π–Š π–•π–Šπ–—π–˜π–”π–“ π–žπ–”π–š π–‘π–”π–˜π–™. Every day, millions of people carry the heavy burden of the unsaid. "Letters You'll Never Read" (Working Title) is an intimate, structurally unique nonfiction collection that bridges the gap between our present reality and the ghosts of our past. Through raw, uncompromisingly honest pages, this project explores the universal landscape of grief, healing, and human connection. These letters move from traditional heartbreaks-such as letters to a parent who passed away-to the complicated, ambiguous grief of severed relationships. The collection features unvarnished communication to living individuals whom the author is entirely no-contact with, exploring the unique pain of mourning someone who is still alive. Balancing these personal reckonings are poignant entries to public figures, examining how cultural loss intertwines with private mourning. What separates this work from traditional memoirs is its immersive, voyeuristic format. By framing each chapter as a direct letter, readers step into a private room of thoughts, finding solace through solidarity. Steering clear of clinical language or forced positivity, this manuscript targets the evergreen memoir and grief-recovery market, appealing to readers of Joan Didion's "The Year of Magical Thinking" and Cheryl Strayed's "Tiny Beautiful Things". It provides comfort, companionship, and a roadmap for anyone navigating the quiet aftershocks of loss. //alt. title "Letters Unread" RANKINGS #26 in Prose - 8/7/26 #60 in Letters - 8/7/26 MY ARTISTS Title Headers: @Jaygrfx7 Others: Self Β© 2016-26

The Genuine Readers list recognizes authors who didn't just join a read-for-read, drop a vote, and disappear. These writers completed an official exchange through Fantasy Author Support, genuinely read another author's work, left meaningful reactions and comments, and followed through on what they agreed to do. Every rank here was earned by completing a tier in the Fantasy Author Support read-for-read system. The farther a reader goes, the higher they climb: πŸ—‘οΈ BRONZE READER Completed a Bronze Tier exchange and proved they were willing to show up, read, and genuinely engage. βš”οΈ SILVER READER Completed a Silver Tier exchange, showing greater commitment through a longer and more involved read. πŸ‘‘ GOLD READER Completed a Gold Tier exchange, giving substantial time, comments, and engagement to another author's work. 🏰 PLATINUM READER Completed a Platinum Tier exchange, the highest level of commitment in Fantasy Author Support and the top rank of the Genuine Readers list. βš”οΈ HOW DO YOU GET ON THE LIST? Join an exchange through Fantasy Author Support, choose a tier, and complete the reading and engagement requirements you agreed to. Once both sides of the exchange are completed, you've officially earned that rank and your Tier Completion Badge. Already on the list? You don't have to stay where you are. Complete a higher tier in a future exchange and move up the ranks: πŸ—‘οΈ Bronze β†’ βš”οΈ Silver β†’ πŸ‘‘ Gold β†’ 🏰 Platinum Your highest completed tier becomes your current Genuine Reader rank. No purchased rank. No empty votes. No five-second reads. ⭐ Your place here is earned by actually showing up for another writer.

'Who is the author anyway? Anyone you might as well know?' 'Not sure. Unless you can somehow convince them to give you a name, we don't have any other way of knowing who they are. They publish the story under a nickname; so I can only imagine they wanna stay anonymous.' 'Seems logical. What's their nickname, then?' Well played Leah, well played. As if you don't already know the answer to that one. 'Nothing too special. It's L.C. Sounds poetic, if you ask me. It gives the story a bit of a mystery, don't you think?' --- Teenage Leah Cunningham publishes a story online anonymously during summer break based on a few real-life events, only for it to go viral after the a-little-bit-too-popular jock Eric Lawson tweets about it. Oh, I forgot to mention it, didn't I? Yeah, let's just say that she and Eric may have some history together and that the story she has been writing may have been about him.

In this book, Brian goes through problems brought on by the choices he made. Legal problems, financial problems, housing problems, and catch 22 scenarios push Brian to the breaking point. But the worst part is Brian has to do all this while sober. If he fails just one drug test, its going to be jail time for a long time. This program is designed to make life better. But it has a devastating effect on Brian. It gets so bad that Brian eventually decides to commit suicide. With no way out and no way to escape Brian finds death to be the best solution However, at his lowest point Brian meets a guy named Ryan, who coincidentally has his same last name. They meet because Ryan, who is working as a pizza delivery guy, accidently brought a pizza to the wrong address. The two guys vent about common problems and quickly form a friendship. But, that's when things got out of control! Killing cops Aligning with white supremacists organizations Getting involved in Asian blood feuds Going to NA Meetings Plus so much more... Sobriety is almost always viewed in a positive light. However, some people are far more of a threat to society sober. Without drugs Brian falls into a dark depression. That deep sadnesss morphs into sociopathic madness.
