Arya, a man trapped in what he believes is the wrong body, faces the incomprehension of his mother, who thinks it's just a phase. Overprotected by his mother and often belittled because of this phase, Arya makes a radical decision: to live with his absent father. But his father dies shortly after his 18th birthday, revealing a startling truth: his father, supposedly in China for work, was actually a soldier who died serving his country. Faced with this reality and the need for soldiers, Arya decides to join the army, not as a woman, but by assuming a male identity.
