I am Commissar Sylas Blackthorne of the God-Emperor's Astra Militarum. Forged at the Hades IV Schola Progenium. Survivor of Drukhari raids and an Ork Waaagh!. Now I have been assigned to the 101st Krieg Siege Regiment on Varnhold, on the outer edges of Segmentum Solar, after my predecessor was killed in a surprise airburst artillery bombardment in Hive Gamma. This is one of my stories.
