The seed took root. 60 years have passed. Now comes the drought. The Covenant's dream is cracking. The rain's stopped. Trust frays. As food stores shrink and old pain stirs, fear creeps in-quiet at first, then loud. Do we share or hoard? Fight or forgive? And newcomers keep arriving, desperate, dangerous, or both. In a world unruled, between one society's death, the birth of what's to some, survival tests more than strength-it tests the soul. And the Covenant must decide: do we become like the world we fled, or finish what we started?

Addressing a gathering at Ravidas Jayanti in Mumbai recently, Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, the Sarsanghchalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), as cited in the Organiser, dateline Feb 6, 2023, has said - "To our Creator, we are equal. There is no caste or sect. If some pundits citing scriptures are talking about caste-based discrimination, then it is false. .. We are confused in the whirlpool of the concept of caste and caste hierarchy. This confusion has to be removed." Maybe, Dr. Bhagwat's assertion supra is primarily meant to douse the Shudra political fire but if only carried forward, it has an immense potential to set the Hindu polity on its reformist course like none else before.

Fiction, History, Tragedy. This story is about Salim and his family and the way Salim, a patriarchal and an orthodox man, gets to meet Gandhi(The Mahatma) through his son(Wasim). The plot of this story has been set up in 2012 and the story is rather dark filled with some really happy and emotional moments. Watch out for the climax though.
