Author's note: The Deadly Trio takes place both before and after the events of The Cursed Cavaliers, exploring the lives of the legendary figures whose choices shaped the world long before Ella, Wynn and Valko began their journey. While this novel can be read on its own, it contains major revelations and spoilers for The Cursed Cavaliers. For the intended experience, I highly recommend reading The Cursed Cavaliers first before beginning this story. The Deadly Trio is divided into three distinct periods: Year One and Year Two follow the trio during their early years together at the Capital, while the Final Years take place several years later and explore the events that ultimately shape their legacy.
