Childhood Memories of Christmas. We all have them. Most good, some, not so good but we got through them all. So here we are. All grown up. Remember the "Christmas Wishes Catalogs and Sears too? Endless hours were spent pouring over those pages. A family venture to the Christmas Tree lot and the pine smell of a new and fresh tree in the home. Old tissue wrapped ornaments full of memories came out stored boxes and presents started appearing under the tree, (how many for you?), good and happy moods, excitement, hot chocolate, bright lights and yearnings, ohhh for so many anticipated and hopeful yearnings for toys! Oh but then when were "bad" parents would remind us, "Santa is watching." It seemed like Christmas would never come either, time went so slow in our youth. At least it seemed like it. Now looking back, where did all that time go?

We would sit on our backs, watching the clouds above moving around in endless synchronization. She would read Pride and Prejudice and I would read Wuthering Heights. On and on we would do this, floating in the sky the longer we watched, telling each other stories, making things up that we wished to believe. Eventually though, these things were sure to come crashing down on our heads like a series of endless shots exploding into the sky because suddenly everything changed. Suddenly, my sister was gone, taken by someone and I am left in the dark shadows of the world left behind without her as I hunt for her killer. * * * * * * Sixteen-year-old Tally Haven's life ends the day her sister went missing, so now she must face reality and continue her life, otherwise everything will fall apart. She will always wonder what happened to her sister, she'll always have that piece apart from her. Then the gorgeous yet curious plot twist named Calen Summers moves in next door and suddenly a spark of hope surfaces to Tally's mind. Will he help corrupt her fear? or will love become her greatest strength and weakness? Together, will they uncover the truth about Tally's sister. Or will they uncover something even more unexpected?
