This little piece of flash fiction is for writers. If you make notes on your phone or on a notepad about ideas that pop into your head, then you may need The Writer's Shovel of Death. I keep story idea notes on my phone, and sometime I have a hard time letting go of those story ideas, even when it's clear they're not viable. So, I take them to the desert of my imagination holding The Writer's Shovel of Death. If you're a writer, this is a short read, and it's the way I say good-bye to some of my story ideas.

Elusia Vale is the most fabulous adventurer, swordswoman, thief, and lover to ever grace Ishara, and she is always the first to say so. Her life has been filled with excitement and reckless abandon, but how long can she outrun the tempests she leaves in her wake? The upstart religion has gained a strong foothold within the world of Andavaran, an endlessly painful thorn in Lulu's side. When Orianna asks for her help to stop a sorceress of unfathomable power, Lulu must set aside her hatred to aid both her cousin and a city on the verge of religious civil war, all the while working with The Path, the very people she blames for her father's fate. Together with Idelle, Orianna, and a host of friends, Lulu must face her past and learn, sometimes, the Path you walk isn't always the one you choose.
