This is a collection of letters I wrote until now to admit things to myself, to document unexpressed feelings, to say goodbye, to praise, and to begin anew. These letters helped reach zero and also helped me make things more real, build conclusions, and strengthen arguments. These letter were instantaneous, needy, and most of all, unspoken parts of me.

"A girl is..." were the first things Katherine Maiz could ever think about when it came to her great grandfather. Treated like short change by her great grandfather's teachings, Katherine is endlessly fighting something she cannot grasp. Theia was a woman that lived with Katherine's great grandfather before he married her great grandmother. And although she only heard rumors about this woman, she never understood why Theia did not marry her great grandfather, who was one of the richest aristocrats in the country of Dien. And for all Katherine knew, she probably hated Theia deep down in her heart. But what is the price for everything Katherine has to go through? Her family issues, her self-esteem, her sister's secrets, and more importantly Theia's secret?

Lives overlap, they intervene with others, sometimes having an affect on them, sometimes not. People are connected by invisible string, some knowledgeable of the other's existence, some never realizing the puppet master behind some of their most defining events. This is a story of people who are shaped by not only their choices, but other's too.
