Kaito Kuroba, or more known for his alter ego as the infamous Kaitou Kid, does more than steal gems. Since after all Kaitou Kid is simply a means to an ends for his true mission: taking down the syndicate that stole his father's life. So he also also pursue any other leads while out of the white costume, either to take a small step forward or a setback need fixing. So imagine that one day, he found a huge lead that could give a huge step forward for his mission, something that will finally avenge his father, or a huge setback, one that might or might not result his downfall, maybe not only as Kaitou Kid but as himself Kaito Kuroba. Mostly a story of many revelations, misunderstandings, dancing around and never ending issues.

What if the famous and best high school detective of the East Shinichi Kudo was a well-known thief who was only thought to be a fictional character at first but turned out to be real. I started to watch Detective Conan not too long ago, and I decided I wanted to write a fanfic for it, since I thought it would be a fun side project to do. I'll try my best to be original I'm not entirely caught up with the anime, Also, sorry if the characters are ooc this is the first time I'm writing a fanfic, so I may or may not write it well. This fanfic is currently being rewritten @underthewritingdesk under the title of Lavender Roses A detective from London, who goes by the pseudonym 'Rose Adler'(real name Isabelle Arens) is believed to be Shinichi Kudo in disguise by the black organization. Isbel has history with kaito Kid and is asked to help catch him, but instead falls in love with someone else there. What will happen if the organization manages to catch her?

*Completed* Thanks to a slip up of his, Kaito was forced to take the APTX 4869, yet just like the famous Kudo Shinichi shrunk into a child of merely 7 years. His mother was in Los Angeles, Jii was on vacation and just like that, the mysterious phantom thief was robbed of all chances to find help, forced to leave his house to hide from public and cut boundaries to his life as Kuroba Kaito. But wait... Why is Kudo Shinichi suddenly back in public? Lurking around in near of professor Agasa's house, could the shrunken KID perhaps manage to sneak a glance at Haibara's antidote? Until a certain detective begins to notice the weird child around him and starts to question who the indigo eyed stranger is.
