Kaito Kuroba, or more known for his alter ego as the infamous Kaitou Kid, does more than steal gems. Since after all Kaitou Kid is simply a means to an ends for his true mission: taking down the syndicate that stole his father's life. So he also also pursue any other leads while out of the white costume, either to take a small step forward or a setback need fixing. He has made a great name for himself as a crime novelist, but then his wife stumbles upon the first chapter, which bears a title uncharacteristic of him. Intrigued, she begins to read and is astonished by all the places she finds further chapters and what he describes in them. She thus embarks on a journey into her past-a past she has so often tried to forget, and yet she simply cannot let go of it.
