Living in a small town in Texas wasn't always easy as a kid, there wasn't much to do. . . until you met him. Conan was really one of your only friends besides the little outcasts group you had formed at your school. You both had a love for music and were planning on being best friends forever. . . How quickly that would change. One moment you were starting to fit in where you were and was feeling like you belonged, but then you had to move to a new enviorment that felt abnormal. After a few years time, what if you were to meet the same person that had helped you so much through your friendship out of no where. Sydney moves over to Texas for awhile to get away from her old life adapt maybe make some music, meet new people, fall in love but, of course she doesn't want to admit it. She meets Conan Gray her new neighbor and they soon hit it off becoming close and becoming really good friends until, she has to leave the one thing she was starting to call home him. ~ This story starts off in September of 2016 quickly jumping to 2017 to really start off these two and their blossoming friendship and everything that comes between.

Y/n and Conan met in Highschool, lived in the same neighborhood and quickly became close friends. Over time feelings changed and so did people...but someone try's to help them regain those feelings. This book takes place in multiple perspectives and is based off the album "I used to think I could fly" by Tate McRae who is also the face of Y/n! :) There is also some flashbacks and memories that will be replayed but they shouldn't mess with the plot :)
