After Cole MacGrath sacrificed his life to save the world, and Delsin Rowe lead the charge for Conduit rights, the world was at peace, until in 2070 a baby in China, glowed. Now the world had 3 species of human inhabiting it, the regular humans, the conduits and now the quirked, and that was just too much for most to accept. But after nearly 150 years of strife and confusion, the world is now at peace... again. For now. Enter our hero... Izuku Midoriya, aspiring hero and quirkless loser, but also potential conduit... he just needs a little, push. Look, I'm writing this for my friends. It's an anime style fantasy world called Conduit that we have worked on. This is for my friends and I only, but you can view it if you want. You can use ideas if you want, but please ask for permission if it's a direct idea, and not just inspiration. This is the handbook on how everything works. It was originally written to help me keep the lore straight for myself and my friends, as I have terrible memory, but I figured others might want to use it as a guide. This story is about in a near-future Earth where roughly 80% of humanity possesses superhuman abilities called "Quirks. However and 20% quirkless individuals. The overarching plot follow Jay who accompanies his older bother who's a bike courier who receives a package containing a device called the Ray Sphere. Detonating the device destroys six city blocks in Jaku and kills thousands, while granting the two superhuman electricity-based powers.

Y/n is a conduit, but he awoke to his powers recently, so he's not as experienced as most conduits are at his age. The drawback of being a conduit is that he has no aura, they are seen as soulless. This, of course, is not true, their aura is suppressed by a mutation in genes, aka the conduit gene. He has gotten into beacon based on combat ability and general endurance alone. His family was complicated, yet, somewhat stereotypical. Dad left when he was young, mom is all he has, he was bullied, etc. etc. He always looked up to the huntsmen and huntresses, two in particular. Electric man, and The Smoker. Both conduits, but, the only ones even only some would accept, most still didn't like them, but Y/n? He thought their powers were cooler than any semblance. He wanted to lead by their example, so, he's training to be a huntsman.

A hundred years kept technology back for the sake of 'Conduits', all technology research went into understanding their powers. They were born with abilities close to that of gods and thus were feared as such. Most were kicked out of civilisation, even killed, when the public knew of their powers.
