If, in Book One, the protagonist-who is also the narrator-tells the story from the inner world outward to the external world, then Book Two reverses that direction. And as the story moves in reverse, it leads us to the opposite conclusion as well-the Sponsor is real!

My apologies to the innocent people who were unintentionally drawn into my story. At first, when I began writing, I intended to change certain details so that too many people would not be affected. However, for several reasons-and because I eventually felt that it was not particularly important-I decided to keep the original story as it was. This is a true story, and the people in it are real. At the time these events took place, I did not know many people. So when the young man in this story appeared, I immediately made the connection and began to write.
